South of the expressway, the northbound and southbound lanes of Post Road split to form a circle. There is a pond in the center.

On the other side of Jericho Turnpike, Post Road changes names to become Post Avenue. There is an interchange with the Northern Parkway.

Post Avenue runs south through Westbury. Due to a low railroad overpass, all tall vehicles must turn off at either Maple Avenue or Union Avenue (CR 63).

Post Avenue widens to four lanes and intersects Old Country Road (CR 25) at a traffic light. It changes names here to become Merrick Avenue.

Stewart Avenue (CR 177) begins on the right at a traffic light. Turn left for the main entrance to Eisenhower Park.

Merrick Avenue becomes a divided road with a grass median for a short distance. There is a traffic light at Glenn Curtis Boulevard.

The median ends. There is a traffic light at Front Street (NY 102). Turn left to go east or right to go west. There is no route signage at this intersection.

Merrick Avenue passes under the Babylon Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. Immediately thereafter, there is a traffic light at Sunrise Highway (NY 27). Turn left to go east or right to go west.
