The ramp for exit 43 merges in from the left. After a short distance, the roadway splits. Bear left to get on the expressway or right to continue on the service road toward South Oyster Bay Road (CR 9).

The service road begins again as the ramp from exit 46 merges with a ramp coming in from the Northern Parkway. Immediately, it splits. Bear left to get on the expressway. Bear right to continue on the service road toward Sunnyside Boulevard.

The ramp for exit 48 merges in from the left. There is a traffic light at Round Swamp Road (CR 110) as the expressway crosses the county line. Turn right to go south. To the left, Round Swamp Road is an unnumbered town road in Suffolk County.
