Midtown Tunnel, Long Island Expressway
Eastbound Views
I-495 emerges from the tunnel in Queens. All vehicles must pay a toll. Exit 13 is for Borden Avenue and the Pulaski Bridge. It is a sharp right turn immediately after the toll.

Exit 14 is for 21 Street (NY 25A) east. It is also located immediately after the toll.

From this point east, I-495 is called the Long Island Expressway. Exits 17W-E are for the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278) and Maurice Avenue.

Exit 18 does not exist when travelling east. The expressway narrows down to two lanes as two additional lanes from the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278) merge in on the right.
