It begins at the interchange of the Long Island Expressway (I-495) and the Van Wyck Expressway (I-678) and runs north until 14 Avenue. Oversized street name signage ends at this point, although College Point Boulevard continues north of 14 Avenue for a short distance as a local street. The entire length is a two- to four-lane road with traffic lights.
