Exit 53 is for the Sagtikos Parkway. It also provides access to Wicks Road (CR 7).

Exit 53 is for the Motor Parkway (CR 67). The Long Island Motor Parkway was the first road to use entrance and exit ramps and overpasses, but now it is just a local street.

Exit 58 is for Old Nichols Road. This road has no connection to Nicolls Road (CR 97), which is exit 62. (No, there is not a spelling error here; the two roads are pronounced the same but spelled differently.)

Exit 64 is for NY 112. The HOV lane ends here and the expressway has three lanes in each direction from here until its eastern terminus.

Exit 70 is for Captain Daniel Roe Highway (CR 111). A sign says that this is an "alternate route to Montauk," but it is much quicker and more direct than NY 24.

The expressway is about to end. Signs direct motorists bound for Riverhead and the east end on which of the last three exits to use.

Exit 71 is for Nugent Drive (NY 24/CR 94), which is a slow and indirect route to the South Fork.

Exit 72 is for NY 25. Exit 73 is for Old Country Road (CR 58), which bypasses Riverhead and is the most direct route to the North Fork.
