The Pulaski Bridge is a drawbridge over Newtown Creek connecting Long Island City in Queens to Greenpoint in Brooklyn. On the Brooklyn side, McGuinness Boulevard is the approach roadway. On the Queens side, the bridge ends at a traffic light at Jackson Avenue, where it becomes 11 Street. The bridge passes over the approach to the Midtown Tunnel (I-495), but there is no direct access to the bridge from the tunnel. Motorists wishing to access the bridge from the tunnel must take exit 13 of I-495 and follow Borden Avenue, Vernon Boulevard, and Jackson Avenue to the bridge.
