Exits 2W-E are for Central Avenue (NY 5).

Exit 1E is for I-90 east. Exit 1W is for the New York Thruway (I-87/I-90). I-87 leaves the Northway to join the Thruway heading south. The Northway continues straight ahead for a short distance with no signed route number to end at Western Avenue (US 20).

The ramp from the Northway (I-87) and westbound I-90 merges into the mainline of the Thruway, which is designated I-87 from this point south. It is a six-lane highway in this area. There is a cashless tolling gantry.

Exit 22 is for River Road (NY 144) and Maple Avenue (NY 396).

Exit 21A is for the Berkshire Connector, an extension of the Thruway that runs east from here to the Massachusetts state line, where it becomes the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90). It takes on the designation of I-90 one exit east of here, but here is has no signed route number.
