Exit 16 is for the Quickway (US 6/NY 17/Future I-86). There is a cashless tolling gantry, as well as a truck inspection, immediately after the exit.

There is a gap between exit 16 and exit 15A. There are some cliffs along the left side of the highway along this stretch. There is advance signage for the Ramapo Service Area and exit 15.
