The roadway splits. Exit 40, a left exit, is for the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) west. Bear right to continue on I-95.

A flyover roadway curves to the south, crossing the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276), and merges with the Delaware Expressway, which is designated I-295 north of here. Exit 39 is for Veterans Highway (PA 413).
