Hillside Avenue continues through Queens. There are traffic lights with oversized street name signs at various numbered streets that descend to the west, as well as Dalny Road, Avon Street, Midland Parkway, Homelawn Street, and Merrick Boulevard.

There is a traffic light at Queens Boulevard. Turn right here to stay on NY 25. There is no route signage, so it's easy for motorists who don't know where they're going to get lost here. Hillside Avenue continues ahead as an unnumbered major roadway.
