Hillside Avenue is a major east/west roadway in Queens. It begins at the eastern end of Myrtle Avenue and runs east as a four-lane undivided road to the Van Wyck Expressway (I-678), where there is an interchange. Immediately thereafter, there is a traffic light at Queens Boulevard (NY 25). NY 25 turns east onto Hillside Avenue at this intersection. The remainder of Hillside Avenue is designated NY 25 and NY 25B to the city line and into Nassau County.
