Welcome to New York and to Rockland County! There is no welcome sign for the state, only one for the county. Orangeburgh Road (Bergen CR 2) becomes Blue Hill Road South at the state line.

Blue Hill Road South runs north along the west side of Lake Tappan.

Blue Hill Road South ends at a traffic light at Veterans Memorial Drive (CR 20). Turn right to go east or left to go west. To stay on CR 23, turn right and then immediately left onto Blue Hill Road. There is only signage for CR 23, not for CR 20.

Blue Hill Road runs north as a two-lane undivided road. Once again, Lake Tappan is on the right.

Blue Hill Road ends at a stop sign at CR 26. Turn right onto Convent Road to go east. Turn left onto Sickletown Road to go west and to stay on CR 23.

Make the first left turn onto Gilbert Avenue for CR 26. Continue straight ahead on Sickletown Road to stay on CR 23.

There is a stop sign at Blauvelt Road, which begins to the left. Turn right to stay on Sickletown Road.

There is a grade-separated partial interchange with NY 59. Turn right at the ramp to go east.

Sickletown Road ends at a traffic light at West Nyack Road. Turn right for a westbound entrance to NY 59. Continue straight ahead onto Strawtown Road to stay on CR 23.

Strawtown Road passes under the New York Thruway (I-87/I-287), but there is no interchange.
