CR 80 is a major east/west route through Rockland County. It begins as Grandview Avenue at Haverstraw Road (US 202) in Suffern and runs east. In New Hempstead, Grandview Avenue ends and CR 80 turns north onto New Hempstead Road, which curves back to the east, crossing the Palisades Parkway and extending to New City. New Hempstead Road ends at North Main Street (CR 29) and South Main Street in New City. CR 80 turns south onto South Main Street for one block and then east again onto Congers Road. After a short distance, there is a bridge over DeForest Lake to Congers. On the other side of the bridge, Congers Road changes names to become Lake Road. It continues east to US 9W in Congers before entering Rockland Lake State Park. Then, it loops through the park, curving to the south and then back west to end at US 9W in Valley Cottage. CR 80 is a two-lane undivided road with traffic lights.
