Jackson Avenue runs south through Syosset. There are traffic lights at Cold Spring Road and Underhill Boulevard, followed by a grade crossing at the Huntington Branch of the Long Island Rail Road.

Jackson Avenue ends at a traffic light at Jericho Turnpike (NY 25). Turn left to go east or right to go west. Continue straight ahead onto South Oyster Bay Road to stay on CR 9.
