Exits 67A-B are for Brunswick Pike (US 1). This is the northernmost point on I-295. The highway curves to the south, but it continues to be signed as the northbound side until the border with Pennsylvania, where it becomes an east/west route. Prior to 2018, this was the northern terminus of I-295. The highway straight ahead was originally designated as part of I-95, which had a gap that was planned to be filled by an unbuilt highway called the Somerset Freeway, which would have hooked into the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) at a point north of here.

Exit 76 is for River Road (NJ 29). It is the last exit in New Jersey. At the state line, I-295 changes direction to become an east/west route as opposed to a north/south route. There is somewhat confusing signage here about I-295 north to I-295 west, even though this section is actually pointing to the southwest. The exit numbers jump from exit 76 to exit 10 at the state line and count down until the western terminus.
