Greenwich Avenue changes designation from NY 207 to NY 17A upon crossing the Quickway (NY 17/US 6/Future I-86). It runs south as a two-lane undivided road, eventually changing names to become Florida Road.

NY 17A is multiplexed with NY 94 south from Florida to Warwick.
NY 17A splits off from NY 94 and runs east through Warwick. Here, it is known as Galloway Road.

NY 17A widens to become a four-lane divided highway, and the speed limit rises to 55 MPH. Turn right onto Long Meadow Road for the Sterling Forest State Park Visitor Center.

The median ends, and NY 17A narrows back down to two lanes and ends at a grade-separated interchange with Orange Turnpike (NY 17). Kanawauke Road (CR 106) is straight ahead.
