NY 17A is an L-shaped route in Orange County. It begins at Orange Turnpike (NY 17) in Southfields and runs west through Sterling Forest and Greenwood Lake to eventually reach Warwick. There, it turns north onto NY 94. The two routes are multiplexed from Warwick to Florida, where they split. NY 17A continues north for another couple of miles to end at the Quickway (NY 17/US 6/Future I-86), where it changes designation to become NY 207.
