NY 94 is a diagonal route in Orange County extending from NJ 94 at the New York-New Jersey state line to US 9W in Newburgh. It begins at the state line and runs northeast to Warwick, where it joins with NY 17A. The two routes are multiplexed for several miles to the north to Florida, where NY 94 splits off to the east. After a few miles, it has an interchange with the Quickway (NY 17/Future I-86) in Chester and then turns to the northeast. In Vails Gate, it crosses the New York Thruway (I-87) without an interchange and then meets NY 32 and NY 300 at a five-way intersection with a traffic light. From there, it follows Blooming Grove Turnpike and Quassaick Avenue through New Windsor to US 9W, where it ends. The entire length is a two-lane undivided road.
