North of Hempstead Turnpike (NY 24), Newbridge Road is a four-lane divided road. There are traffic lights at Old Westbury Road, North Bellmore Road, Salisbury Park Drive, and Carnation Road.

Newbridge Road merges with NY 107. NY 106 is multiplexed with NY 107 through Hicksville and Jericho as Broadway.

A few miles to the north, NY 106 splits off from NY 107. It is now called Jericho-Oyster Bay Road. It runs north as a four-lane divided highway.
