Jerusalem Avenue is an east/west route in Nassau County extending from Hempstead to Massapequa. It exists as a county route with the designation of CR 105 from where it begins in Hempstead to the southern terminus of NY 106. There, it becomes a state route, changing designation to become NY 105. It runs east to Massapequa, where NY 105 ends at Hicksville Road (NY 107). Jerusalem Avenue continues east for a little less than a mile as a local street. NY 105 is a two-lane undivided road with traffic lights, except at its interchange with the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway (NY 135), where it widens to four lanes and has a grass median for a short distance. It also passes over the Wantagh Parkway, but there is no interchange.
