Exits 4W-E are for the Quickway (NY 17/Future I-86). Many of the signs here have covered I-86 shields that will be uncovered when I-86 is extended this far east. There is also an erroneous US 17 shield on one sign.

Exit 1 is for US 6 and NJ 23. There is a sign goof here. NY 23 doesn't come anywhere near here. Rather, I-84 runs just north of the New York-New Jersey state line here and exit 1 provides access to NJ 23, which ends at the border.

I-84 continues into Pennsylvania straight ahead. There is signage for exit 53, the first exit in Pennsylvania, on the New York side of the border.
