Welcome to Virginia! I-395 enters the state from the District of Columbia on a bridge over the Potomac River. Exits 10C-B are for the George Washington Memorial Parkway. Exit 10A is for Boundary Channel Drive.

Exit 8C is for Richmond Highway (US 1) south. Exit 8B is for Richmond Highway (VA 110) north and I-66 west. Exit 8A is for Washington Boulevard (VA 27) and South Arlington Ridge Road.

Exit 7 is for Glebe Road (VA 120). It also provides access to Quaker Lane.

Exit 1D is for the Capital Beltway (I-495) north. Exit 1C is for the Capital Beltway (I-95) north. Exit 1B is Franconia Road (SR 644) and Old Keene Mill Road (SR 644). Exit 1A is for the Shirley Highway (I-95) south. I-395 ends here. All motorists must use one of these four exits.
