Sullivan Trail curves to the east. There is a bridge over the Susquehanna River. On the other side of the bridge, Sullivan Trail ends at a stop sign. Turn left to stay on PA 92.

There is a traffic light at US 6 in Tunkhannock. Turn right to go east and to stay on PA 92. Turn left to go west. Continue straight ahead for Business US 6.

PA 92 is multiplexed with US 6 east for about two and a half miles to the east, and then it splits off.
PA 92 runs northeast to Nicholson as a two-lane undivided road.

In Nicholson, the speed limit drops to 25 MPH. Here, PA 92 is known as State Street. The Tunkhannock Viaduct, a massive bridge carrying freight rail tracks, becomes visible in the distance.
