Passing through Edgewood Preserve, Commack Road narrows down to two lanes. There is a grass median for a short distance.

Commack Road ends at a traffic light at Jericho Turnpike (NY 25). Turn right to go east or left to go west. CR 4 continues straight ahead as Town Line Road.
