Northern Boulevard runs east through Jackson Heights. There are oversized street name signs at the intersections with 82 Street, Junction Boulevard, 108 Street, and 114 Street. Turn right onto 114 Street to access the Grand Central Parkway east.

Northern Boulevard becomes a limited-access highway in the vicinity of Shea Stadium. There is a left exit for the Van Wyck Expressway (I-678).
