Exit 8C is for Pelham Parkway west. Exit 8B is for Orchard Beach and City Island. Exit 8A is for Westchester Avenue.

Exit 7B is for East Tremont Avenue. Exit 7A is for the Throgs Neck Expressway (I-695), a short connector leading to the Throgs Neck Bridge (I-295).

Exit 6B is for the Bruckner Expressway (I-278) west. Exit 6A is for the Whitestone Bridge (I-678) south and Bruckner Boulevard.

From this point on, I-95 is known as the Cross Bronx Expressway. This section runs east and west, although it is still signed as a north/south route for consistency with the rest of I-95. There are frequently very bad traffic jams here. Exit 5A is for Westchester Avenue and White Plains Road.

Exit 3 is for Third Avenue and Webster Avenue (US 1). Northbound US 1 is routed along Webster Avenue starting here. Southbound US 1 is multiplexed with I-95 along the Cross Bronx Expressway straight ahead from here across the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey.
