The North-South Freeway changes designation from I-76 to NJ 42 upon crossing I-295. Exit 14 is for Creek Road (CR 753).

Skipping a few miles, Black Horse Pike runs south as a four-lane divided highway. There are traffic lights at Greentree Road (CR 653), Whitman Drive, Ganttown Road (CR 659), Johnson Road, Fries Mill Road (CR 655), and Watson Drive.

NJ 42 ends at a traffic light with jughandles at Sicklerville Road. Continue straight ahead on Black Horse Pike to go east on US 322 on turn right to go west. Turn left for Spur CR 536.
