US 322 is a major east/west extending from Cleveland, Ohio, to Atlantic City, New Jersey. It enters New Jersey from Pennsylvania on the Commodore Barry Bridge, which crosses the Delaware River from Philadelphia. On the other side, US 322 is known as Swedesboro Road until it reaches Mullica Hill. There, it becomes the Mullica Hill Bypass, a two-lane road with almost no intersections that extends for about half a mile before merging with Mullica Hill Road. US 322 follows Mullica Hill Road east to Glassboro, where it is multiplexed with NJ 47 along Delsea Drive to the south for a few blocks. It then splits off onto High Street, which becomes Glassboro-Williamstown Road. In Williamstown, Glassboro-Williamstown Road ends, and US 322 turns north onto Sicklerville Road for a few blocks and then southeast onto Black Horse Pike, a major road crossing the state from Camden to Atlantic City that is designated NJ 42 and NJ 168 north of this point. US 322 follows Black Horse Pike all the way to Mays Landing, where it merges with Harding Highway (US 40). The two routes are multiplexed along Black Horse Pike and Albany Avenue to Atlantic City, where both end.
