There is a traffic light at Wyoming Road. The right lane becomes a right lane, leaving Library Avenue with two lanes straight ahead.

The median ends, and Library Avenue continues south as a two-lane undivided road. It changes names to become South Chapel Street.

South Chapel Street widens to become a four-lane divided road. There is a traffic light at East Chestnut Hill Road (DE 4). Turn left to go east or right to go west.

There is a diverging diamond interchange with DE 1. The northbound and southbound lanes cross over each other twice at traffic lights so that traffic passes through the interchange on the left side of the road. Motorists can access the ramp on the left without having to make a left turn across traffic. US 13, which is multiplexed with DE 1 for one exit north of here, joins Wrangle Hill Road straight ahead.

US 13 splits off at a traffic light at DE 7. Turn right onto Dupont Parkway to go south. Turn left onto Bear Corbitt Road to go north on DE 7.
