Exit 34 is for PA 739. Due to construction, all traffic is forced into what are normally the westbound lanes, with one lane for each direction. This arrangement ends just before the exit.

Exit 53 is for Pennsylvania Avenue (US 6/US 209). Due to construction, all traffic is forced into what are normally the eastbound lanes, with one lane for each direction. There is a temporary ramp crossing over to the westbound lanes to provide access to the exit.

Approaching the state line, there is advance signage for exit 1 in New York, which is for US 6 and NJ 23. The sign is in Pennsylvania, the exit is in New York, and it references a state route in New Jersey. Straight ahead, there is a bridge over the Delaware River to New York.
