East Deer Park Road begins at Jericho Turnpike (NY 25) in Dix Hills and runs southwest as a four-lane undivided road. It ends after less than a mile at a point just north of the Northern Parkway. There, it merges into Deer Park Road (CR 35), which becomes NY 231 at the parkway.
