Straight Path widens to become a four-lane divided road with a grass median. There is a traffic light at Wellwood Avenue (CR 3). Turn left to go north or right to go south.

The median ends, and Straight Path continues northeast as a four-lane undivided road. There is a railroad crossing at the Central Branch of the Long Island Rail Road.

Heading out of town, Straight Path is a two-lane undivided road once again. It continues northeast to Dix Hills.
