Welcome to the Village of Hancock! Here, NY 97 is known as Stockport Road. The speed limit drops to 30 MPH at the village line.

There is a bridge over the East Branch of the Delaware River. On the other side, Stockport Road ends at a stop sign at East Front Street. Turn left to stay on NY 97. NY 268 begins on the right.

There is a traffic light at Read Street. Turn right to stay on NY 97. Continue straight ahead on East Front Street for access to the bridge to Pennsylvania and PA 191.

After one block, there is a flasher at East Main Street. Turn left to stay on NY 97.

East Main Street changes names to become West Main Street. There is an uncontrolled intersection at West Front Street. Turn left for access to the bridge to Pennsylvania and PA 191. Continue straight ahead to stay on NY 97.
