NY 268 is a short north/south route extending from Hancock to Walton. It begins at the point where NY 97 turns from East Front Street onto Stockport. East Front Street continues east as NY 268 for about a mile to an interchange with the Quickway (NY 17/Future I-86). It then turns north onto Cadosia-Apex Road, which runs north through Cadosia and Apex to a bridge over the Cannonsville Reservoir. It ends on the other side at NY 10.
