Westbound Views
Hamilton Avenue begins at North Broadway (NY 22) and runs west through White Plains as a four-lane one-way street. There are traffic lights at E.J. Conroy Drive, Church Street, Renaissance Square, Cottage Place, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, North Lexington Avenue, and Ferris Avenue.

Hamilton Avenue passes under the Harlem Line of the Metro-North Railroad and then curves to the northwest, merging with Main Street, which carries the eastbound side of NY 119 through White Plains.

NY 119 is now a six-lane divided road called Tarrytown Road. Turn right at the first traffic light for an entrance to the Bronx Parkway. Turn left to go south on Central Park Avenue (NY 100). Northbound NY 100 is multiplexed with NY 119 along Tarrytown Road straight ahead.

White Plains Road ends here at Broadway (US 9) in Tarrytown. Turn right to go north or left to go south. Also, turn left for a southbound entrance to the New York Thruway (I-87/I-287).
