Skipping east to Queens, the roadway splits. Bear left for the Nassau Expressway (NY 878), which begins here. Bear right to stay on South Conduit Avenue.

Skipping a few miles, South Conduit Avenue runs east as the service road to the Belt Parkway.

As the Belt Parkway curves to the north, North Conduit Avenue and South Conduit Avenue come together to form Sunrise Highway, a six-lane divided road.

There is a traffic light with an oversized street name sign at Hook Creek Boulevard, which runs along the Queens-Nassau county line.
