Middlesex Freeway, Outerbridge Crossing
Northbound Views
The Middlesex Freeway changes designation from I-287 to NJ 440 after crossing the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95). There is a pair of exits for Woodbridge Avenue (CR 514).

There is an exit for Smith Street (CR 656) and Riverside Drive. This exit also provides access to Crows Mill Road (CR 656).

There is an exit for Pfeiffer Boulevard (NJ 184), Convery Boulevard (NJ 35), and Amboy Avenue (CR 653).

The Outerbridge Crossing goes over the Arthur Kill from New Jersey to Staten Island. The West Shore Expressway (NY 440) is straight ahead on the other side of the bridge.
