South of exit 6, the turnpike has the unsigned designation NJ 700. The car and truck lanes merge together to form a single three-lane roadway in each direction.

Exit 5 is for Burlington and Mount Holly.

Exit 4 is for NJ 73. From this point south, the turnpike has only two lanes in each direction.

At the southern end of the turnpike, there is a toll plaza. All motorists who don't have E-ZPass must hand in their tickets and pay a toll depending on how far they've travelled on the turnpike.

After the toll, there is an unnumbered exit for NJ 140 and CR 540.

Straight ahead, the turnpike ends and merges into I-295. There is a sign to tell motorists that there is an exit from I-295 for North Broadway (NJ 49) east immediately after the merge.
