Dixwell Avenue widens to four lanes. There is an entrance to the Mount Carmel Connector (CT 40) south, which ends just past here at I-91 and Bailey Road.

Dixwell Avenue ends at a traffic light at State Street (US 5). Turn left to go north or right to go south. US 5 is erroneously signed as CT 5 here.
