Skipping about half a mile, there is a junction with CT 154 at a traffic light. Turn right onto Main Street to go west on CT 154. Eastbound CT 154 is multiplexed with northbound US 1 along Boston Post Road straight ahead.

After a couple of blocks, the two routes split. Turn right to stay on US 1 and for an entrance to the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) north. Continue straight ahead for CT 154, which is called Middlesex Turnpike beginning here, and for an entrance to the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) south.
