Crooked Hill Road widens to become a divided highway with a grass median. It ends here at a traffic light, merging into Wicks Road, which is designated CR 7 north of here. Continue straight ahead onto Wicks Road to stay on CR 13.

The southbound side of CR 13 ends here. Clinton Avenue (CR 13A) is straight ahead. The section of Fifth Avenue south of here is a northbound one-way street. There is a county route signage assembly that specifies that it only the southbound side of CR 13 that is ending here. There is a replica of the Fire Island Lighthouse in the median as the two routes split.
