Old Post Road runs west as a two-lane undivided road. There are signs for Westchester County, the Town of Lewisboro, and South Salem. These signs are located here because the traffic light at Smith Ridge Road (NY 123) is so close to the state line that there is only space for a state welcome sign to the east of it.

Old Post Road ends at a traffic light at NY 121. Turn right onto North Salem Road to go north. Continue straight ahead onto Cross River Road to go south and to stay on NY 35.

Cross River Road widens to become a four-lane divided highway. There is a traffic light at Goldens Bridge Road (NY 22). Turn right to go north or left to go south.

There is an interchange with I-684. Turn right at the first traffic light to go south. Turn left at the second traffic light to go south and for access to the Saw Mill Parkway and NY 117.
