These traffic lights were found on New Hyde Park Road at Marcus Avenue and Union Turnpike (NY 25C). They have been replaced with new ones that have larger bulbs.

These route signs were found on New Hyde Park Road at Hillside Avenue (NY 25B) and Jericho Turnpike (NY 25). They have been replaced with new signage that gives the compass directions.

This picture shows the grade crossing at the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road as it appeared before construction work began to add a third track. The grade crossing was replaced with an overpass as part of the project.

During the early stage of the construction, the road narrowed down to two lanes passing through the grade crossing.

By the winter, New Hyde Park Road was closed at the grade crossing. South of Jericho Turnpike (NY 25), it narrowed down to a single southbound lane and then ended at a fence at the construction site.

Returning in the summer, the new overpass was installed, but the roadway under it was not yet paved.

Once paving was completed, the pedestrian walkway was partially open, but the road remained closed to traffic while the construction was completed.

These arrow signs were found on the two-lane portion of New Hyde Park Road in Garden City. They have been replaced with chevron signs.
