CR 22 is the main east/west road in Atlantic Beach. It begins at the southern terminus of the Nassau Expressway (NY 878) and runs east to the Long Beach city line. The entire length is a four-lane undivided road with traffic lights. CR 22 begins as Park Street and then changes to become Beech Street. At the city line, Beech Street narrows down to two lanes and continues into Long Beach as a local street.
