Old Post Road North begins at Albany Post Road (US 9) and runs east. After one block, it splits off to the north. CR 56 continues east as Spring Lake Road.

Spring Lake Road splits off to the left to become CR 55. Continue straight ahead onto Turkey Hill Road to stay on CR 56.
