Welcome to Cranbury! South Main Street runs north through Cranbury as a two-lane undivided road. CR 615 crosses CR 535, multiplexing with it along South Main Street for two blocks. Turn left onto Cranbury Neck Road to go south or right onto Station Road to go north. Only the northbound direction is signed.

At the next traffic light, the two routes split. Turn right for Prospect Plains Road (CR 614). Continue straight ahead on South River Road to stay on CR 535. The right lane becomes a right turn lane here, and South River Road goes back down to two lanes.

South River Road widens to four lanes and gets a concrete median as it changes names to become Cranbury-South River Road. There is a traffic light at Forsgate Drive (NJ 32). Turn right to go east or left to go west.

On the other side of the bridge, CR 535 is known as Washington Road. There is a traffic light with jughandles at MacArthur Avenue and Jernee Mill Road (CR 675). The right lane is an exit only lane for the jughandle.

Washington Road runs east as a two-lane undivided road. There are traffic lights at Main Street (CR 670), Green Valley Way, Sayreville Boulevard South, Pulaski Avenue, North Minisink Avenue, and South Minisink Avenue.
