North Main Street runs north as a four-lane undivided road. There is a small bridge over the Raritan River, and then it changes names to become Finderne Avenue. There is a traffic light at Bridgewater Campus Drive.

There is a traffic light at East Main Street. Turn right to continue north on CR 533 or left to go west on CR 612. Finderne Avenue continue straight ahead as CR 633.

CR 533 ends here at a traffic light at CR 527. Turn left onto Mountain Avenue to go north. Continue straight ahead on Main Street to go south. The signage here is misleading and would cause one to think that CR 533 is straight ahead. Of course, no trip to New Jersey would be complete without getting lost.
