These pictures show the Delaware Expressway as it appeared just before the connection to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-95) was opened.

These pictures show the Delaware Expressway at exits 8-10 approaching the Scudders Falls Bridge as it appeared while the bridge was being replaced. Construction work was in progress to widen this section to three lanes in each direction to match the new bridge.
