Shore Road (CR 65A) becomes Pelham Road at the New Rochelle city line, less than a mile north of the Bronx-Westchester county line. Pelham Road runs north through New Rochelle as a two-lane undivided road.

Echo Avenue intersects Main Street (US 1) at a traffic light. Turn right to stay on CR 65, which continues north along Main Street, multiplexed with US 1, from here to the New Rochelle city line, where it ends.
