Broadway begins at Bradhurst Avenue (NY 100) just south of Saw Mill River Road (NY 9A) in Hawthorne. It runs east as a two-lane undivided road.

Commerce Street runs north as a two-lane undivided road. The CR 29 designation ends after a few blocks at Liberty Street.

Commerce Street changes names to become Franklin Avenue. Kensico Road (CR 1308) begins on the right at a traffic light. Turn left onto Marble Avenue for access to the Saw Mill Parkway.
